SUMMER TRAINING PROGRAM

Summer training camps consists of three major developmental phases:

  •  physical conditioning
  •  tactical training
  •  match play

Coach Sanchez personally leads all camps with the assistance of Coach Owens and Coach Chang. Our goal is to elevate the performance of all participants and produce a highly competitive team for the spring tennis season.

PHYSICAL CONDITIONING

Players will work to improve strength, endurance, and flexibility. Engaging in a well-rounded fitness routine that includes cardiovascular exercises, strength training, and stretching to enhance their performance on the court.
Off-season training includes a combination of cardiovascular exercises, strength training, and flexibility work. Coaches will incorporate drills and exercises that simulate the movements and intensity of a tennis match. This type of training prepares players for the physical demands of the game and helps prevent injuries.

TACTICAL TRAINING

Coaches will fine-tune players tactical approach to the game, work on your shot selection, court positioning, and overall game strategy.
Players also work on mental aspects of the game, such as concentration and decision-making. They will work on developing a winning mindset and improving their mental resilience, which are crucial for success in competitive tennis.

MATCH PLAY

Match Play will help players maintain their competitive edge and also provide valuable experience in managing match pressure while developing mental resilience.
